How does Clubhouse hire work?

It's as easy as 1 2 3, Once you book your desired date and timeslot via our online booking system, you will receive a text or email with all the details including the address and parking details.

On the day of your hire, you will simply drive to the Clubhouse (or will be dropped off by ourselves if you selected pick up) where we will then let you in and leave you to it, (It may even be left unlocked prior to your arrival)

After your session, simply wipe down your poles, put any rubbish in the bin, turn off all lights and heater, and then leave, shutting the door behind you. (We will lock it later)

Question 2

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! we welcome all doggies as long as if they're house trained and won't view our floor as a toilet!

Question 3

What extras can I rent?

We have additional equipment available for hire such as a smoke machine (for effortless video content) and an X-stage. Be sure to select them during the checkout process of your booking. If you do not purchase the equipment hire with your booking and instead request it at short notice, We may not be able to arrange it for you.

Question 4

How does pick up/drop off work?

Accepted Answer

To celebrate the opening of our Clubhouse, We are currently offering pick up and drop off from 3 local train stations due to the rural location of the Clubhouse.

Distances to Clubhouse:
15 minute drive from Guildford station
11 minute drive from Milford station
10 minute drive from Godalming station

Pick up/drop off is subject to availability of the driver so book in advance to secure your pick up/drop off. Your pick up/drop off may be declined if booked at short notice in which you would have to get a taxi. (If you will be relying on our pick up/drop off service, We strongly advise that you DM us on Instagram @Dollysclubhouse with your desired booking date/time so that we can confirm availability of the driver before you book.

Once your session is booked with your pick up/drop off added on, you will be able to message us your estimated train arrival time. Your driver will meet you at the station and take you to the Clubhouse. They will then pick you up and return you to the station once your session has ended.

We understand that many of the London-based polers don't drive, but this shouldn't mean that they have to miss out on our space!

Please note that this service is temporary and subject to end or change.

Question 5

How many people are permitted in the Clubhouse at one time?

Accepted Answer

If you are booking the 'entire Clubhouse rental', a maximum of 4 persons are permitted in the clubhouse at any one time.
If you have been found to have more than 4 persons in the clubhouse for your booking, you may be banned for life.

Privately held events may allow a capacity of up to 12.

Question 6

Am I allowed to book the Clubhouse for the purpose of filming/shooting professional content?

Accepted Answer

Of course! feel free to bring a photographer/videographer as well as your own props if you do not wish to use ours but please make sure you do not have more than 4 persons in the Clubhouse during your booking as per our policy.

Question 7

Can I move and use the furniture in the Clubhouse as props for my videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All we ask is that you put it back where you found it at the end of your session.

Question 8

Can't I just walk or get a bus from the train station?

Accepted Answer

Due to the rural and secluded location of the Clubhouse, We strongly advise that you do not attempt to walk down the country lanes as there are no footpaths or bus routes running nearby.

If you are thinking of visiting our Clubhouse but do not drive, You can enjoy our promotional pick up/drop off service from 3 local train stations, or book a local taxi at your own expense.

Question 9

What should I wear for my private pole lesson?

Most importantly, please avoid applying moisturiser to your skin the day before and the day of your pole lesson (it will be harder to grip the pole)

Complete beginners commonly wear gym shorts and sports bras practicing in bare foot (pleaser heels are not compulsory) but you are also welcome to wear bikinis, micro-bikinis or cropped vest tops etc.

You are also welcome to wear leggings or tracksuit bottoms if that is more comfortable but please note that this will limit what you will be able to learn/practise during your lesson. This is because gripping the pole with your skin is a crucial component to many pole moves and tricks.

Avoid jewellery such as rings and necklaces or remove before your lesson.

Question 10

What happens if I do a no-show?

If you no-show your clubhouse hire, this is completely fine.

If you no-show a private lesson, it is at the instructors discretion as to whether you will be welcomed back. This is because valuable time goes into lesson planning and valuable time is wasted when your instructor is left waiting for someone who never arrives.

If you no-show an event, you will be banned from all future events with no exceptions. This is because lots of valuable time goes into planning events and lots people wish to attend these events but have to miss out due to our small capacity. We then waste valuable time waiting for guests who never arrive.
This includes same day cancellations.
